Masturbation

Penis Enlargement
 Risks

Masturbation is a healthy part of life for most men. It helps us to develop and learn sexually. Masturbation to the point of orgasm releases powerful chemicals in our bodies that help with elevating mood. It helps to boost the immune system to fight off diseases. It also helps keep us relaxed. Men have a stronger urge than women to have sex. We want to ejaculate, it’s build into us. Ejaculation through masturbation or sex is a method of stress and anxiety reduction.

There can be negative side effects of masturbation as well. Too much masturbation can make sex less enjoyable or more difficult with a partner. It can also make your penis sore if you masturbate too much or with inappropriate lubrication, such as soap. We will go into the negative aspects of masturbation more in detail.

Problems with Masturbation and Masturbating too Often Masturbating too often can cause problems. Or too much masturbation may be a sign of deeper underlying problems. We shall explore the problems associated with too much masturbation in these next pages.

How much masturbation is too much? Or is too much masturbation unhealthy? Too much masturbation is unhealthy. But how do you know when you are doing it too much?

Clear signs of unhealthy masturbation frequency: If you penis is raw or developing any kind of skin lesion, redness, bumps, scalyness, or any type of skin condition, then you are definitely doing it too much (assuming you do not have an STD). Try using a lubricant, use less pressure, go slower, or do it less frequently. Also make sure you use the right kind of lubricant.

If masturbation gets in the way of your normal daily activities, then this may be a sign you are doing it too much. For teens and young adults (under 21 or so), more masturbation is normal.

If you constantly find yourself getting off 3 or more times a day, then you are likely doing it too much. If you constantly think about masturbation and you are worried all the time about getting caught, then you probably have a problem. If you find yourself leading a secret life with your sexuality then you may have a sexual addiction.

Difficulty maintaining an erection or reaching ejaculation with a partner

Masturbation offers a temporary reduction or relief to our sex drive. It temporary relieves us from that feeling of sexual urgency and need. The problem is that if we masturbate too much, our bodies may become hard-wired to respond to masturbation and normal sex may prove difficult or frustrating.

If you can achieve and maintain an erection from masturbating, then your body ‘works.’ If you can ejaculate from masturbation, then you are healthy enough for sex. But if you can perform sexually during masturbation but not when you are with a sexual partner, then your problem is mental. If masturbation is affecting your sexual performance with a partner, then you will need to cut back on the masturbation to begin the mental healing process. If you watch pornography when you masturbate, you may need to cut back on the porn. Pornography addiction, or sexual addiction, can be a major mental block to healthy sexual function with a partner. Please read this section of the website for more information if nothing else seems to work.

Our bodies are machines of routine. They like the same types of things and adapt to them. If all we ever do is masturbate manually by yourself, then it wouldn’t be unusual to have performance anxiety issues with a partner.
