Ginseng (herb)
Ginseng is used for 3 main purposes – in tea, with chicken (soup), or as part of a supplemental package.

Ginseng is thought to be a mild stimulant (but not as strong as caffeine). If you decide to incorporate it into your diet, know that too much of it can make sleeping difficult.

Ginseng is supposed to increase your desire for sexual contact, both in men and women. Basically you want to have sex more and you enjoy more sexual interest.

With men, it can help with getting a stronger erection and increasing male libido. It is sometimes used as a natural way to treat erectile dysfunction.

If you want to take ginseng, you can find ginseng capsules at the grocery store. Or you can also thinly slice it and cook it with chicken soup, and possibly with other chicken dishes.

If you taste dried ginseng, which is the way you would normally find it (not fresh cut), you’ll probably have somewhat of a bitter taste. But freshly picked ginseng is supposed to be slightly sweet. Which makes it’s use in tea quite delicious! When you put into soup it can add a tasty degree of flavor. Just make sure it’s a flavor you are comfortable with (use small doses at first).

Ginseng Supplement
If you want to take pure ginseng as a supplement, you’ll want to make sure you are not taking too little, which is quite a common problem. Ginseng is thought to be helpful if you take at least a full 1.5 grams to as many as 6 grams. If you are of average size, then try a 3 gram dosage for starters.
